We love fall.

Alison Whisnand - Thursday, October 30, 2014
So you can imagine our enthusiasm when we were approached about exhibiting in High Point, NC for the first time in many years! Crisp fall weather, colorful leaves, and friendly folks- you can bet your left toe that these California natives were good to go!

We thoroughly enjoyed our location at the Suites at Market Square as well as our experience with the most helpful staff we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting!

If you’ve never had the opportunity to stroll the halls at Market Square, you are in for a treat! We just so happened to snap a few pictures of the charming old building and sights.

It has been told to me on countless occasions that southerners have a reputation for being the most hospitable people in the country, but I was still unprepared for the overwhelming kindness we were met with at every turn.

Our host whipped up a beautiful breakfast every morning, and we couldn’t help but be swept up by the idyllic colonial style homes in our little neighborhood.

The Suites at Market Square has a sweet patina that complements our vintage-inspired collections so perfectly!

Lynne was all a-jitter, as only a designer could be, over the inspiring pieces other vendors had on display during the show. I however, found my inspiration in the handful of booths brimming with treasures from long ago. We may have had a little too much fun with the room on the right – but you can never have too many antlers, right?

I learned something else about the South during our stay: these folks know how to have a good time! There were gatherings every night with music, treats and BBQ!

We had the pleasure of meeting so many new (and some familiar!) faces last week that we’ve decided we will be going back for more! If you plan on attending the High Point Market in April, be sure to stop by! We’ll be there with bells on!
